Katie McCollom Katie is a 5th grade teacher in Woodbridge, CT. Outside of APO, Katie tutors, serves on her church's missions committee, is an advisor for International Order of Rainbow for Girls, and is Matron (President) of The Order of Eastern Star & Grand Representative to Idaho. She loves Jimmy Buffet, movies, board games, and card games. Katie donated her hair twice, once at brunch the day after her wedding! She also had her dad for a first grade teacher!
Vice Section chair Kim Usselman vice
Kim Usselman Kim is a children's librarian who loves books, especially Harry Potter. She just started grad school to get her Masters of Library Science. Outside of APO, she currently volunteers on a mayoral campaign in New Britain. Kim's responsibilities as Section 96 Vice-Chair are to help Katie as much as possible and serve as a resource to the other staff as well as the students. She is also the advisory chair at Delta Sigma, UConn.
Alumni Events Coordinator Carolyn Jones alumni
Carolyn is an alumna of Alpha Chi (MIT), and currently works as a Cat Herder (TM) at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, MA. She is well known for her homemade chocolate concoctions, and she often can be found wearing interesting hats.
Leadership Coordinator Karen Graham leadership
Karen Graham Karen is a Pre-K teacher at the Killingworth Kid's Center in Killingworth. Outside of APO, she is an active member of the Chester Hose Company where she volunteers as a First Responder and is in the Women's Auxiliary. She has also been an avid volunteer with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life efforts since 2005 and currently serves on the Relay For Life of Haddam-Killingworth planning team. On a recent trip to Germany she completed a life dream to go skydiving!
Membership Coordinator Amanda Mazzola membership
Amanda is a former deity who once angered a minor weather god. Her past haunts her to this day. She has six more lives to go on the wheel of life before her transgressions may be forgotten. The lack of explanation for her continuing punishment in this life is a source of constant perplexion.
Service Coordinator Lauren Oliva service
Lauren Olivia Lauren is an Associate IT Project Manager, Komen Race for Cure supporter, and college football/basketball lover. She loves playing Catch Phrase and is really good at making really awkward faces.
Fellowship Coordinator Kate Reeder fellowship
Kate is an Accounts Payable Specialist for The Boston Consulting Group in Boston, MA. She is also taking classes at Bentley University as she works toward her MBA. Kate joined Teach for America after college and taught high school math in Arkansas for four years. She plays the oboe, clarinet, and piano, and dreams of returning to Italy someday.
Historian Shaina Rasmussen historian
Shaina Rasmussen Shaina is a third year law student at Vermont Law School looking to take the Massachusetts Bar Exam. And that pretty much sums up her life. She has been a vegetarian for 12 years and has an irrational fear of giraffes.
Secretary Bethany DiMarzio secretary
Bethany DiMarzio Bethany is a first year student at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she is involved in the Women Law Students' Association, Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, and the Davis Mock Trial competition. She is also the financial assistant at the law library on campus. Bethany has a serious addiction to chocolate and shopping.

Bill is an active member of the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Ask him about volunteering at ConnJam.
Conference Coordinator Jess Mikes conferences
Jess is a fan of fleece socks. Her personal kryptonite is alpacas. Fortunately, her German shephards keep the wooly menace at bay, a task for which they are well appreciated and loved.
Member At Large Rex LeBeau
Rex is a sailor, but when she grows up she is going to be a dinosaur. After she finishes mapping out the ocean, the requirements will finally be complete and she can begin the transformation. Her future is bright and filled with gnashing teeth of difficult-to-comprehend size.

Joanna is secretly a pineapple who thinks fondly of the days she was once a bromeliad. It is no easy task to hide her true self, but someday she will finally return to the tropical island from where she sprouted and can soak up sun and rain and surf and reflect on the majesty of her botanical identity.

Jim Schaefer
Jim Schaefer Jim is actually not a brother of the fraternity, but volunteering comes naturally to him and he is eager and willing to be a part of Section 96 staff. Jim's first exposure to APO was when he attended Nationals in Boston (2008), lending a hand when needed to the Region 1 Suite. In his spare time, Jim can be found fighting fires and responding to medical calls as a member of the Chester Hose Company where he serves currently as the First Lieutenant Officer. He also serves on the Relay For Life of Haddam-Killingworth planning team. Jim is employed by Whelen Engineering Inc. in Chester, CT as a Technical Support Representative. In addition to meeting actor Bill Murray, he has played soccer overseas in Denmark, Sweden, and Holland.
MIT (Alpha Chi) Liaison Joni Halabi AXLiaison
Joni Halabi Joni is a website developer, with a specific focus on website localization, and is currently working at Nokia, in Burlington MA. Outside of work and APO, she is an avid runner and practices "hot" yoga. In addition, she has several hobbies, including travel, digital photography, knitting, and jewelry making. Joni loves folk music and festivals. Every July, she attends the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, which is a 4-day camping festival on a farm in Hillsdale NY. (For anyone who has heard of Falcon Ridge, Joni did survive the tornado of 2008.)

Karen Graham Karen is an alumna of Quinnipiac University chapter (Nu Alpha), and was a 2002 recipient of the APO John Mack Scholarship during her sophomore year. While in college, Karen worked in Walt Disney World on Pleasure Island to fulfill her internship. She loves travelling, ice hockey, board games, and catching up with friends!
BU (Zeta Upsilon) Liaison Kristen Browning ZULiaison
Kristen is not certain what happened to the BU rock. It was a very nice rock, with over eight whopping inches of spray paint layers when it had last been cored in 1992. But she hasn't seen it, or the pine tree it lived under, in many years. She desperately hopes they did not elope over the bridge together.
Quinnipiac (Nu Alpha) Liaison Erin Morrell NALiaison
Erin is one of those mysterious beings known as university staff. While little is known about them, some are said have control over your life, your future, your very graduation. Some are beings that glow constantly with barely-encased power. Others are whispered to be incapable of descriptory capture through language as we know it. Anyway, you should ask how it is working out for her.
WPI (Omicron Iota) Liaison Peter Burger OILiaison
Peter Burger Peter is a Maine Maritime Academy alum, 2005 (Phi Epsilon chapter). He is a Marine engineer professionally, currently working on a drill-ship in Korea/India. Peter lives in Cambridge, MA. He loves to cook, sail, and tinker/build. He travels a lot for both work and pleasure, so he's often not at home. Peter has been drunk on 5 continents.

Shana is a logistics coordinator. She works with tractor-trailers. Shana likes the Red Sox and Boston. They both rock.

Elizabeth is possibly faculty in New Jersey, or a widow born in 1653 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Unless she is a high school teacher who might or might not be a toddler on Facebook. Elizabeth does not endorse either Google or this brief, fascinating, and wholly implausible biography.

Jennifer is a software engineer who aspires to have the tools she create not result directly in either the demise or the interruption of the Internet. The most recent addition to her hobbies is ice hockey.
